The Friends of Nahant Marsh is a non-profit group set up to support and supplement the goals of Nahant Marsh Education Center. On the first Saturday of the month, The Friends will host a service project with assistance from AmeriCorps and Nahant staff. Each project will be based off the service-learning model. Service-Learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. 

March 3rd~Brush Removal 

Participants will be removing and clearing brush in order to make way for our plantings next month.

*Please dress for the weather. Be prepared to do some physical activity. Gloves and tools will be provided. You may bring your own lopping shears and gloves, if you wish.
