As nocturnal raptors, owls have many amazing adaptations to hunt prey at night. Learn about the habits of these birds by looking at skulls, wings, and mounts. Students will also get to study and dissect owl pellets.

 

Nahant Marsh's homeschool program is a monthly series of natural science classes designed to supplement at-home learning. The program activities are designed for grades K-8th. This program is delivered in a flexible format that is specially designed for homeschool students, and aims to immerse children in the natural world. Classes meet once a month on Fridays from 2:30-4:00 pm.
