Program
Nahant Marsh's homeschool program is a monthly series of natural science classes designed to supplement at-home learning. The program activities are designed for grades K-8th. This program is delivered in a flexible format that is specially designed for homeschool students, and aims to immerse children in the natural world. Classes meet once a month on Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00 pm.
Registration and Important Info
- Registration is required.
- Accompanying adults DO NOT need to regsiter. Please only register the attending child.
- This program is designed for children grades K-8th. If you have children younger than this, please check out our Toddler Tales program.
- Maximum of 20 students per session.
- Dress for the weather and for messy activities.
- Online registration is required to reserve your spot.

September 16: Insectigations
Students will learn about insect anatomy, colors, and patterns through bug catching at the marsh! Afterwards, they can apply what they learned and create their own insect

November 18: The Great Madagascar Hiss Race
Choose your champion! Come meet our resident Madagascar hissing cockroaches, learn about how they use their senses, and watch them race to the finish line.

December 16: Gingerbread STEAM Challenge
Put your engineering skills to the test! Get festive and build the tallest gingerbread house Nahant Marsh has ever seen.
